it’s been a looooong while…. i have been too sick and tired to post any news, but a lot has happened since my last entry.

1) i went to see I AM ROBOT AND PROUD

it was REALLY amazing =) and i got to hang with some of the members of ROBOT BAND,, it was a great evening! shaw-han is 1 of the kindest and modest musicians i have ever met. his music is very melodic and calming in a way, but when you see him live, the music becomes really energetic and it almost sounds like a synth punk rock! it was a great performance! much thanks to all the people in the band!! hope the tour in asia goes real well, especially the ones in s-korea!!

2) i went to see NOSAJ THING

it was my first time seeing him live. i was very close to the stage, it was practically right in front of my nose. it was very intense and i should have asked him for an autograph or a message for my moleskin notebook. i kind of collect these kind of things.. another thing i regret, i spent too much money on drinking i completely forgot to buy his cd….. oh well ~_~;

yesterday was our family’s 14th anniversary of our migration to toronto.

me and my mother celebrated at a japanese restaurant.

i had sashimi and my mom had sushi.

tonight, there will be a cd release party of i am robot and proud! i am so happy for shaw-han’s success!

it’s been a looooong time!

i have been sick =( as you all probably have assumed…

today isn’t such a great day for me either,, i have some kind of muscle ache… it’s all over the place

but i am quite excited!

in april, there are two live shows i intend to attend! 2nd – i am robot and proud 4th – nosaj thing !!!!!!

i am super excited!!! can’t wait!! i reallly hope i don’t get sick though…..

as for news… i have uploaded a couple of new tracks on myspace and soundcloud. i hope you all had a good listen.. =) there’s going to be a major change in my 3rd album as well as the all hip-hop/rap EP i have announced super earlier.

first, the EP’s title has changed to “Lost Art” and at this moment, i am still not sure if this will be a full length or remain as EP.

lately i been playing some games on iphone… it’s so addictive… i can’t get my hands off on my phone! as for music…. mainly dubstep….. got almost every release from PUNCH DRUNK records. really great stuff!! =) i highly recommend it. besides that, OOAH from the glitch mob. his music is amazing.

from a lazy afternoon, my day came in light when my mom took me out for a vietnamese noodle place.

we have been going there ever since we moved to this area. there are quite a lot of vietnamese people living in this area, thus there are many asian supermarkets near by and it’s so great.

i remember how i used to miss all this convenience and availability of the city of toronto especially north york to be specific.

after we got home, we watched a couple of episodes of BOSTON LEGAL (produced by my favorite David E Kelly) on dvds, and i had a hagen dass (spelling?)

my symptoms of flu/cold has diminished, i think i can get off the medication now, but i still get strange headaches almost everyday….. annoying.

yesterday was such a busy day… from 9:30am i was dragged to a hair salon and waited for my mom for 3+ hours….. because she promised me to get an iphone.

my first pic took with iphone is this DREW BARRYMORE’s COVERGIRL AD.

then i met up with brian we went to the notorious jazz bar THE REX and saw this..quartet play.. which was…..just slightly lower than the average. unfortunately my 15$ just disappeared into the thin air.

then we went to bathurst to eat some japanese food. this is sashimi =) thanks brian!

then we went to SONIC BOOM to check out some cds…. unfortunately i could NOT find the soundtrack of “unbearable lightness of being” sigh ……. i wonder if i should beg my mom and order it via amazon…….. sigh

without friends, what could we be in our life?

without anyone, what can i be?

even if i’d completely disregard everyone in the whole world and think totally on my own, other people realize the same thing as i do even though we don’t even know each other.

when i wrote this song called “Infinite Zer0″ (the end should the number zero “0″ not alphabet “o”), i thought about the title on my own, and apparently it’s a name of a rec label by black flag’s henry rollins, and a japanese anime.

just unbelievable!

great minds think alike? ;P perhaps.
